New Video Production Showcases the Long-Standing and Successful Collaboration Between Autodesk and Aconity3D
Insights Into Software-Driven Processes and Shared Innovative Strength

Autodesk has produced a new video together with us, placing our long-standing and successful collaboration at the center. The production offers exclusive insights into how modern Autodesk software solutions are integrated into our development and manufacturing processes.

The video illustrates how Autodesk Fusion and Autodesk Netfabb support our data preparation and play a key role in increasing the efficiency of our production workflows. The greatest value Autodesk brings to Aconity3D lies in its ability to cover the entire range of tasks involved in industrial 3D printing of metal components. From data-intensive preparation for daily production – including optimization, support strategies, and job setup – to the flexible handling of complex vector data in research projects, Autodesk provides a seamless, fully integrated environment. This enables us to execute every step in the additive manufacturing process with precision and reliability – essential for speed, quality, and innovation in metal 3D printing.

Another focus of the video production was our long-standing cooperation with Autodesk. Together, we develop solutions for complex customer requirements and demonstrate how closely software and machine development are intertwined in the field of additive manufacturing.

With Autodesk Inventor, we not only design individual components such as the gas cooler for our systems, but also engineer our entire machines. From developing the complete system architecture to creating 3D parts and finalizing every detail, each step is carried out digitally in Inventor. This fully model-based development approach enables us to build systems that are precise, efficient, and optimally tailored to their final application.

With this video production, we aim to show how digital tools and hands-on application go hand in hand – and how a strong, long-standing partnership forms the foundation for innovation in additive manufacturing.
